Finally!

The computer is ours at last! Geez, M is a laptop hog. "I'm doing boarding stuff!" is always her excuse. Well we have a life, too! In fact, we've been tagged and STILL haven't completeled it for our new friend Izzy. We were tagged to list 7 weird things about us. Well I could tell you about a million things that make Cassie weird, but I guess I'll be fair and make it three for Cassie, three for me, and then one thing that makes us both weird. Cassie can go first since she's the weirdest.

1. Mom says that sometimes I just stare off into space like I don't know what's going on. I don't know what she's talking about -- I'm contemplating very serious matters. Things like dinner and when we're going to go to the park!

2. I love cats! Orion thinks that this is really weird, but Phoenix is one of my best buds. He's like a small dog, but easier to pounce on.

3. I sit down funny. While most dogs sit on their haunches, i sit on the base of my tail so that my back arches. Therefore, it's really easy to get knocked over. Sometimes while I'm sitting and pondering about my dinner, someone will come along and knock me down! Everyone laughs!

Okay, me next. I suppose I can find a few things that make me kind of weird.
1. I go really really really crazy over my soccer balls and tennis balls. Throw it to me, throw it to me! Mom says that I'm obsessed.

2. I like to spoon. At night when we go to bed, I like put one leg under my dad's head and put the other one overhis shoulder, then rest my head on his neck. M says that it's adorable, but I just think it's really comfy. M has yet to get a good picture of it, but when she does, she'll post it.

3.I'll eat pretty much anything. The humans don't want me to because they say that some food makes me itchy, but I don't really think about the consequences when there's food in front of me. M has even found me munching on paper and cat poop. Hey! It's a delicacy.

Okay, and one thing that makes the both of us weird is:
We both have really funny barks! M says that mine sounds more like a mix between a husky and donkey! Most of the time I 'wooo', but if I'm complaining about something, it's a sing-songy up and down staccato type whine/bark. And Cassie has a really high pitched bark that turns into a howl. When we play bitey face, you can't hear anything else because of Cassie's howls and my crazy barking.

7 Annoyances

Hey there everydog. We got tagged by Maggie and Mitch to post seven annoyances and link to them in the post, then list and link to 7 more bloggers to do the same.

Maggie and Mitch split theirs up into 3 for Maggie, 3 for Mitch and one shared annoyance, so I think we're going to do it the same way.

Okay, so I'm going to go first and then Cassie.

1. I hate that I'm not allowed to eat anything else other than my allergy food. Rabbit and potato is good, but I'm tired of it and I miss my bones and treats and cheese!
2. My neighbor dog Trooper really annoys me. He digs into our yard to play with Cassie and gets really possessive of her. When I try to run him off he tries to bite me. Man, he really REALLY annoys me (M agrees with me on this one.)
3. It annoys me when I'm trying to lay down and relax and Cassie keeps chewing on my ears or wants to keep playing bitey face.

Hey! You're a lovable brother, what can I say?

My turn!

1. I don't like it when Orion gets to go places and I have to stay home. Even if he's just going to the vets, I make a big fuss about it. It's not fair.
2. It really annoys me that I have to stay in a crate when my parents are out and Orion doesn't. I promise I won't do anything too naughty.
3. It annoys me that ORION is REALLY possessive of the ball/stick/dummy that we are playing with. I want to catch it and bring it back, too! He never lets me. So I bite him. Ha!

And the last thing that REALLY annoys the both of us is when M tries to make us pose and sit in perfect positions and wear funny things on our heads. That is SOOO not cool, Mom. Besides, we're natural models. You should just wait for time like this when we take good photos without trying.

Me!Me!Me! (finally)

Okay, so a long time ago (apparently when I was on hiatus) Jennifer over at Dogs of Jackman Ave. made this neat tag-survey called 'Me Me Me' which I think is cool because...well...it's about me! :) I'm finally getting around to it because I saw it in a couple of doggy-blogs and I want to do it, too!

Today I'm 7 months old!

2. Your age when came to live with your people:
7 1/2 weeks

3. What color is the collar you're wearing right now?
Solid black with my silver bone name tag on it.

4. Who is your favorite person other than the people you live with?
Definitely my Uncle Chris! (My mom's brother) I love it when we go to see him because he'll romp around with me and play fetch and he'll take me for walks around the ranch. Hmm...hey Mom! You should take some pictures of me and Uncle Chris!

5. How much do you weigh?
Hmm...I haven't been weighed in a while, but I think about 60lbs! Geez!

6. Most expensive thing you've every chewed up?
Hmm...let me see...I don't think I've chewed up anything very expensive, but the combined cost of everything that I've killed definitely isn't cheap!

7. Do you like other Dogs?
Definitely. I especially like barking in their faces when I tire them out and I still want to run around!

8. Who is your best non-human friend?
Hmm...definitely my neighbor-dog Ellie. She's so cute and even though she's smaller, she can keep up with me!

9. Squeaky toys or tennis balls?
Hmm...I like rope toys and sticks. Oh man...nothing compares to sticks.

10. Do you like to be brushed?
Not really. Sometimes it's okay if I'm really sleepy. Other than that, I just like to chew on the brush.

11. Peanut Butter or Cheese?
Both! At the same time, even (actually, I've never had them together, but I bet it would taste good!)

12: Do your people cut your toenails?
Most of the time. Sometimes the people at the vets do it.

13. Any formal education?
Puppy classes. And after we move, I might start taking more obedience.

14. Couch potato or Energizer Bunny?
Sorry, I didn't hear that one, I was too busy running around.

Wiggle-butt, Handsome, O, Big Boy, Silly

16. What is your best trick?
Crawling on my tummy like a snake. I also like to do doggie-push ups.

17. Do you like kitties?
They're kind of funny looking, but I like them. Lani is fun to chase, but I like laying around and playing with Phoenix.

18. What did you have for breakfast?
Solid Gold Wolf Cub Formula. Mmmm....Salmon and Bison.

19. Can you hunt (i.e. have you ever killed anything living)?
Just grasshoppers on accident. But I just like to play with them, I don't want to kill them. I don't like it when they stop moving. :(

20. When and why was the last time you went to the V.E.T.?
About a month ago for my skin allergies. I'm still really itchy. I'll give you guys an update on that later.

21. Where do you sleep at night?
On my bed in the bedroom with my Mom and Dad. (shh...sometimes I'll jump on their bed early in the morning when they're sleeping and I'll stay there for a few hours...hehehe)

22. Do you like to swim?
I love to splash around in water and wade in it, but I don't like when I can't touch the bottom with my feet.

23. Can you make puppies?
I'm still a puppy! (but Mom keeps saying something about me getting "tutored" soon. I wonder what I'm going to learn.)

24. Do you give kisses?
Yes, but usually only when Mom or Dad asks for them.

25. Can you potty on command?
Most of the time. "Get busy"

26. To Cuz or not to Cuz?
To cuz! But I killed my las bad cuz, so Mom needs to get me a new one.
